Project Spotlight: INB to First Interstate Bank Rebrand (2018)
The Scope
When Inland Northwest Bank was purchased by First Interstate Bank in 2018, more than 15 branch locations across the greater Spokane area required a complete overnight rebrand. From Colfax in the north to Rockford in the south—and into North Idaho—each branch needed updated signage to open the next morning under the First Interstate name. The project included new cabinet signs, monument signage, ATM branding, window hours, and decals.
The Prep
Our team spent weeks preparing all the materials needed for the changeover:
– Cutting aluminum faces and acrylic push-through letters for illuminated cabinets
– Installing LED lights into new cabinets for long-term performance
– Cutting and preparing vinyl and decals for doors, ATMs, and windows
– Coordinating with permitting and code requirements to ensure compliance
The Overnight Install
The rebrand required a one-night, all-hands-on-deck effort. After branches closed for the evening, our crews worked across Spokane and into Coeur d’Alene to install new signage and graphics. Meanwhile, a support team remained at the shop to field calls and produce any last-minute pieces. By morning, the doors opened as First Interstate Bank—with a complete signage transformation across multiple branches.
The Impact
This project showcased the power of planning, teamwork, and precision. Months of preparation came together in a single night, ensuring First Interstate Bank was ready to greet customers with a consistent, professional brand the very next day.
